Sick still

Well i was at home again today, still sick, so i didnt go to work placement. Hmmm but what did i do, hmm, i watched in good company, which was alright. OMG last night i watched this movie called Elephant, and omg it was soo good i really really liked it. It was about the Columbine shootings in america, and its one of those slow, arts-ie farts-ie movies, but still good. Hmm what else did i do today, hmmm played well more annoyed the cat.
Man i cant wait for school tomoz, i start with drama, and then im going for coffee with my lovely bum chums, Mel and Sammy. and then in the night going out for dinner with family woo hoo.
I made a really nice hot chocolate today, it was the bomb!!

That's cool, but like, some people get offended when you compare a sexuality to a bad thing. It's kinda like saying having a cold sucks like wearing glasses, which isn't true nor fair.

Also, since Sydney has one of the highest rates of homosexuality in the world, you'll probably get the shit kicked out of you less often if you don't go around comparing gays to colds :P

I understand, believe me I don't mean anything by it, someone pretty close to me is gay, and he is fine with the jokes, has many of his own, guys at school are gay and are fine with them, have many of their own, within our age group it is the norm to call something gay, and I haven't ever encountered someone being offended by it, only place I have is on tv etc.

I don't mean anything with those comments, but I've grown up with it (i.e. been using it as an insult since I was like in year 2) and so its become like saying something sucks, except much more common. Its a hard habit to break, I've been able to cut it down a lot compared to what it was, but its still a huge thing, because I can't think of anything else fast enough to explain the intenseness of the badness :P
